
Dear All Participating Teams,
We would like to express our sincere gratitude to all teams who participated in the 4th XJTLU Global “Dream-Chasers” Entrepreneurial Competition. We are deeply honored to have received a multitude of high-quality projects from around the globe, which have fully showcased exceptional talent, extraordinary creativity, and a relentless spirit of innovation.
The competition opened for project submissions on 26th April 2025, and we received 1170 project applications with participants from 28 countries. Following a rigorous and meticulous evaluation process, and in keeping with the same advancement ratio as previous editions of the competitions, the Judging Committee has selected 260 teams to advance to the second round of the competition. This decision was based on several key criteria, including: Quality of Ideas, Market Potential, Business Model Viability, Team Quality. Please find the list of advancing teams attached. The teams are listed in no particular order. Further details regarding the semi-finals will be communicated to the selected teams via email.
To honor the hard work and dedication of all participants, we will present a “Certificate of Participation” to every team that submitted a project after the finals. For the teams that did not advance to the next round, we encourage you to continue refining your projects and optimizing your plans. As the XJTLU Global “Dream-Chasers” Entrepreneurial Competition is an annual event, we sincerely look forward to witnessing your brilliance on a future stage.

November 24-December 19: First Round Evaluation
- The review team conducts initial evaluation.
- Announce the list of teams advancing to the next round.
- Notify the selected teams to prepare for the next round of competition.
December 19-February 16, 2026: Semi-Finals Submission
- Access the competition website, and download semi-final video preparation guidelines (detailed information will be posted after the first-round evaluation).
- Submit the videos for the semi-final competition.
February 16, 2026-March 20: Semi-Finals Evaluation
- The review team conducts the semi-finals evaluation.
- Announce the list of teams advancing to the finals (Top 60).
- Notify the selected teams to prepare for the next round of competition.
March 20-April 3: Finals Submission
- Access the competition website, and download finals preparation guidelines (detailed information will be posted after semi-finals evaluation).
- Submit the PPT for the finals.
April 10: Final Evaluation and Award Ceremony
- The 60 participating teams will present their projects and engage in Q&A sessions with judges in parallel venues.
- The competition results will be announced, followed by the award ceremony.

PDP Hour (for XJTLU Entrepreneur College (Taicang) students only)
By participating in competition-related activities and accumulating a total of 100 hours, participants will be eligible to receive a certificate issued by the competition organiser. Students could access e-bridge, and upload the certificates for evaluation by the Academic Advisor. The e-bridge will properly record the hours in increments of 100, 200, 300.
- Stage 1 (30 hours):
- Successfully submit first-round registration materials and be qualified for the first round of the competition.
- Participation in at least one competition-related activity/event is required: Q&A session, seminar, or workshop (May 2025-October 2025).
- Stage 2 (30 hours):
- Successfully advanced to the semi-final round of the competition.
- Participation in at least two workshop/training. (November 2025 – February 2026)
- Fulfilment of all Stage 1 requirements.
- Stage 3 (40 hours):
- Successfully advanced to the final round of the competition.
- Fulfilment of all Stage 2 requirements.
If the students do not successfully make it to the final round, they can choose to merge the time they have fulfilled in the competition-related activities with the time accrued from the X3 Co-Venture or Innovation Factory activities for the overall calculation
1. Submission Requirement
- Each team should consist of at least 2 members, with each member participating in only one team. Participants can be junior college, undergraduate, postgraduate, or doctoral students. Each team can only submit one project idea and has only one submission opportunity.
- For the first round, the file name of the submission should be named in the format of “Project Title + School Name“. Failure to comply with this requirement may result in disqualification.
- First-round PPT submission:
The first-round submission requires a 6-page English PPT including: a cover page (startup name, logo, tagline, product/service image, background), problem/opportunity (real-world data or stories), solution (product/service, core technology, key benefits), market opportunity (TAM, SAM, SOM, growth, target customers), business model (revenue streams, pricing strategy), and team (key members, advisors, roles, and relevant experience).

No animation effects or video playback should be used in the PPT. Failure to adhere to this limit or violate the aforementioned requirements will be considered a violation and will result in disqualification.
2. Judging Criteria
The judges will evaluate submissions based on four key dimensions:
- Quality of Idea: Is the project idea unique, innovative, and potentially disruptive? Does it address an existing problem or fill a market gap?
- Market Potential: Is there a significant demand for the product/service? Is the target market large enough and potentially profitable?
- Business Model Viability: Is the proposed business model reasonable and sustainable? How does the project plan to generate revenue and achieve profitability?
- Team Quality: Does the team possess the necessary skills, experience, and commitment required for the project’s success? Do the team members demonstrate good chemistry and mutual respect? Please consider the diversity of team composition, the clarity of member roles and the demonstration of collaboration ability.
3. Second Round Selection
The top 100 teams will advance to the second round.
