With the rapid development of the intelligent robotics industry, we have have seen increasing numbers of advanced technologies that are being developed. The School of Robotics aims to cultivating versatile talents with a wide understanding of robotics, expertise in the development of advanced technologies, integration of robotic technologies. They will focus on core industry issues, as well as learn and practice the ability to design and implement advanced robotic systems.
To achieve this, the School of Robotics is now providing with different goals for talent education at different levels, targeting both undergraduate and postgraduate educations. In the undergraduate programme, i.e., B.Eng. Intelligent Robotics Engineering with Contemporary Entrepreneurialism, it is featuring:
Simultaneously, the School of Robotics is also committed to providing high-quality and in-depth professional training for doctoral students. It is equipped with state-of-the-art experimental facilities and has created an academic exchange environment that integrates industry, academia, and research. The School of Robotics will regularly organize domestic and international academic conferences and seminars in the intelligent robotics and relevant industries to adapt to the rapid development of technologies in the industry and the advanced applications of robotics in various sectors.
Under the guidance of mentors, doctoral students in the School of Robotics will conduct in-depth exploration and innovation in advanced technologies or significant problems that require urgent solutions. The School of Robotics will offer robust support for the incubation and transformation of doctoral students’ relevant research outcomes.
Doctoral students in the School of Robotics will receive joint guidance and supervision from professional academic staff within the school and supervisors from the University of Liverpool. Students will also have the opportunity to engage in in-depth discussions with experienced experts from relevant industries, collaboratively seeking solutions to significant challenges and breakthroughs in innovative technologies.
