Since establishment, the Academy has continuously integrated and optimized its faculty by recruiting globally, strengthened its disciplinary construction, improved and upgraded its research platforms, and implemented a series of measures to promote rapid improvement in its scientific research. The academy has established several research institutions and platforms to lay a solid foundation for promoting scientific research innovation and accelerating results transformation. Currently, the academy has three government-approved research institutions, one academy-level research center, and four industry-university research institutions. The construction of high-level scientific research platforms provides strong guarantees for the formation of high-level scientific research capabilities and teams, as well as the undertaking of major projects and the generation of major results.
The Academy has always adhered to the working philosophy of project-led scientific research and scientific research supporting teaching, organized carefully, actively motivated, and collaborated innovatively, vigorously supporting various types of project application and significantly increased scientific research funding. In the past three years, Academy of Pharmacy has been approved for more than 10 national, provincial, and Suzhou Industrial Park research projects. The academy’s scientific research team has worked closely with biopharmaceutical companies, providing professional technical support for target discovery, drug synthesis analysis, drug formulation, pharmacology and toxicology, and has established a total of more than 20 transverse research projects with a total funding amount of over 60 million yuan. In terms of patents, nine invention patents have been applied for, including three national authorized invention patents, and one international PCT patent has entered the US national phase. As of now, Academy of Pharmacy’s scientific research team has published more than 90 papers in domestic and foreign core journals and academic conferences, and has cooperated with the XIPU Institution to publish seven reports related to the biopharmaceutical industry, covering topics such as industry development, industry chain construction, and the integration of industry, academia, and research.

We will further implement the operating mechanism of combining academy resource guidance with assessment and promotion, and continuously improve the academy’s scientific research competitiveness.
