XJTLU Wisdom Lake Academy of Pharmacy strives to collaborate with a variety of pharmaceutical companies in order to build a biopharmaceutical industry ecosystem. To date, we have established strategic partnerships with more than 40 companies to promote research and talent cultivation.

Talent cultivation
Wisdom Lake Academy of Pharmacy has launched joint talent cultivation programmes with several pharmaceutical companies, including Jiangsu Hengrui Pharmaceuticals, Shanghai Junshi Biosciences and Ascentage Pharma. In each case, the company selects potential candidates for the programme who will work on company projects while at same time progressing towards a master’s or PhD degree. Usually three tutors work on the programme together, one each from the Academy, the University of Liverpool and the company.
Research labs
XJTLU Wisdom Lake Academy of Pharmacy has established joint labs with companies including PegBio, BEAVER and Convergen. Leveraging the advantages of both parties in research and development, science and technology, and talent cultivation, the labs engage in research projects that can achieve international standards.
Enterprise scholarship
Suzhou Abogen Biotechnology has created an enterprise scholarship for full-time postgraduate students at XJTLU Wisdom Lake Academy of Pharmacy which aims to strengthen collaboration between university and enterprise, and jointly cultivate high-quality, practical, innovative and international talents for the pharmaceutical industry.
Experimental Animal Centre
The Academy and Suzhou GenePharma co-founded XJTLU Wisdom Lake Academy of Pharmacy Experimental Animal Centre which provides the university with animal facilities and a great platform for scientific research development. The Academy and GenePharma also have enhanced cooperation through this platform.
