Industry, business and community

We collaborate with both multinational and domestic Chinese companies and firms, offering a broad spectrum of services – from customised executive education courses to opportunities for companies to recruit, collaborate, grow and prosper with our IBSS students.

Executive Education

Our executive education courses are recommended for businesses exploring new ways of thinking, working, developing employee skillsets to meet evolving demands, and continuously improving organisational efficiencies and the bottom line. See our range of open-enrolment and customised programmes here.

In-Company Project

In today’s challenging environment, companies must be proactive in the marketplace. Success requires actively analysing new trends and developments. Our seasoned staff members, who boast strong professional as well as academic backgrounds, can provide strategic analysis, global best practices, and China-savvy knowledge to help our partner organisations solve their most pressing business problems through the In-Company Project. This programme matches companies with student teams and a faculty advisor to produce customised research.

“In 2019, Modula (China) had the opportunity to share an experience with students from XJTLU. It was a very positive experience due to the attention the students paid to our products and to our current and potential markets. In a very short time, we received a deep analysis of our customers’ segmentation, the suitable media to reach existing and new customers, and our foreign and domestic competitors. I hope we will have this opportunity again in the future since the first one has been very enriching to our staff.”

Academic Knowledge Sharing

Companies can engage with IBSS in the classroom: providing live case studies for students to work on, arrange factory visits, or sending guest lecturers to discuss practical management issues. These are just a few examples of how companies can directly benefit from engaging IBSS’s young minds.

“ICAEW is very happy to have collaborated with IBSS on the strategic master programme, MSc in Professional Accounting, the establishment of the ICAEW Centre at IBSS and the offer of ICAEW prizes to top IBSS students. We will continue to explore avenues for future collaboration.”
